this pattern, (its tabs and it works on every string)
0-5-7-8-7-5-7-5-2-3-5-3-2-0. once u get the hang of that pattern u can change it, add notes in sequence, play it fast or slow. but use that as a base line and see where it gets u. (u can do it in any key just as long as u keep that pattern and shape.

i know that i didnt really give you a beat with that lol but when you play it play it as fast as you can. sounds pretty sick once you get the hang of it. I got another to sling at ya. You know how to play 2 string power chords, right? (its taking just the root and the fifth of a barre power chord and playing just those 2 strings) f.e. first finger, second fret, fifth string - second finger, fourth fret, fourth string. Anyway, use that shape and work it into kinda a flowing arrapegio. you pick the strings straight down, once you play the fifth string move your second finger over to the fifth string at the fourth fret, then while your play the fifth move your first finger back to the fourth string, so the finger position is kinda reversed of what you started with, then move your second finger back to the fourth string, same fret, then move the first finger back to the thrird string, so on it goes the same way. but when you get to the one with the second and third strings, you play the third string the same way as the others, then you play the second string, second fret, then the second string, third fret, then slide up to the fifth fret, then you can either come back down to the third fret and move to the first string and play 2nd,3rd,5th on that one. or you can just move straight from the 5th fret second string to the second fret of the first string. you can play that on any fret man, it is one of the most versital of all the solo things i play. try it out man.

| The numbers stand for the frets. You can play whats listed on any string. Example if youplayed it on the high E string 0 means open 5 hold the string down on the fifth fret and so on. Hope this helps | ||
