Lessons would help. Your teacher at the moment sucks.lol. find a good guitarist to hook up w/ and play as much as possible.

| Get an electric guitar to start, a cheap one, new or used. This is because the strings are lower to the fretboard than they are on an acoustic guitar. After your fingers callus up, then look for a new or used Seagull S6 model or a low end used Martin acoustic. Try both and see which suits your hand size best. Seagulls have a wider neck, but sound great. For the finger pain try rubbing the tips with some "Witch Hazel". That should help some. | ||
