| I wanted to play the guitar, but my fingers will not do what I want them to. I can't get them spread apart enough. any suggestions. thanks | ||

 I'm just begining too, couldn't reach the chords at first (G, C, D) but my friend who is teaching me told me to keep streching my fingers and within a couple of tries I was stretching five frets without moving my thumb, hope that encourages you.
