Hi all, can someone tell me how I will be able to master bar chords? I really want to be able to and I know it will be hard work, but I do need some tips how to get there?

| Well there is this exercise i did when i was having trouble but it takes a bit of time and is really boring :P lol start on the e string and bar fret 1 then strum 4 times... now cover e string fret 1 and B string fret 1 then up and up and up to E then go reverse then when you have gone all tghe way down back to e string go to the second fret and make your way all the way down to around 20 thats when i stopped XD haha lol do that every day lol was that easy to understand or would you like me to put it in tab form? :P | ||

| Hey samsung, one thing you can do to get you on your way is to start playing some of your open chords such as 'E', 'Em', 'A', 'Am', 'G' 'D', 'A7', with your second, third and forth fingers, or in the case of 'A', use your 3rd finger to bar the 3 strings. Once your fingers are used to playing chords in this fashion it will not take long to build up the strength in your index finger to bar the remaining strings that aren't being played by your other three fingers.
