Dear Guitar Chords 247,
What's missing or I haven't found, is the diminished 7 chord in the following position; (e.g.) A dim 7 3 finger 5th fret 6 string 1 finger 4th fret 4 string 4 finger 5th fret 3 string 2 finger 4th fret 2 string 5 & 1 string muted; of course with any diminished 7 chord (3 minor 3rd's built on any "root") moving this up a minor 3rd will give you the same chord but with a C bass and call it C dim 7 (or 1st inversion of A dim 7), move that up another minor 3rd and you have the same chord but with an Eb in the bass and call it an Eb dim 7 (or 1st inversion of Eb dim 7 or 2nd inversion of A dim 7), move that up a minor 3rd and you have the same chord but with an F# in the bass and call it an F# dim 7 (or, or, or,) move that up a minor 3rd and you're an octave above from where you started. Follow the same scheme except with the following string / finger arrangement; 2 finger 5th fret 6 string 5 finger 6th fret 5 string 1 finger 4th fret 4 string 3 finger 5th fret 3 string 2 & 1 string muted; I also didn't see the half diminished 7 chord in the following position; (e.g.) A dim m7 2 finger 5th fret 6 string 3 finger 4th fret 4 string 4 finger 5th fret 3 string 1 finger 4th fret 2 string 5 & 1 string muted; I noticed this because I was copying and pasting chords to excel for a student of mine for a particular song and I couldn't find these chords, so that's why I wanted to write to Guitar Chords 247. I'm not being picky (no pun intended) but just trying to be helpful. It also would be nice to have an on-line template for submitting chords to save the administrator the work. :-) |
